In March 2016, Joe Root’s magnificent 83 from 44 balls saw England complete one of the most incredible chases in the history of T20 cricket.
Some wayward bowling, in particular from Reece Topley, allowed South Africa to set a daunting 229 for four, with Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla and JP Duminy making half centuries.
But Jason Roy came out to blast 43 runs from 16 balls and give England some momentum before Root showed his class to keep England’s World T20 destiny in their own hands.
Corinthian Sports are proud to offer this luxury viewing facility with stunning views over the field from an open-air terrace and balcony.
