The Stone Roses are an English rock band, formed in Manchester in 1983. They were one of the pioneering groups of the Madchester movement that was active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band’s most prominent line-up consists of vocalist Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Mani, and drummer Reni.
The Stone Roses have announced a huge headlining gig at London’s Wembley Stadium for summer 2017. On June 17 Ian Brown & Co will play at one of London’s most iconic music venues in front of thousands of fans. The show is part of a three date UK tour which sees the Manchester band also visit Belfast and Glasgow. It will be their biggest gig in the capital in four years since they played Finsbury Park. Plus it will take place just a week before Glastonbury.
