Samu Kerevi is a prominent Fijian-born Australian rugby union player known for his power and agility as a centre. Born on September 27, 1993, in Viseisei, Fiji, Kerevi moved to Australia in his teens, where he attended Brisbane State High School and quickly made a name in rugby. He began his professional career with the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby, debuting in 2014. His exceptional ball-carrying skills and physicality made him a standout, and he soon became one of the competition’s most formidable centres.
Kerevi’s performances caught the attention of the Wallabies selectors, and he debuted for Australia in 2016. He went on to represent Australia in the 2019 Rugby World Cup, further establishing himself as a key player.
After the World Cup, he took up a contract with Suntory Sungoliath in Japan’s Top League, honing his skills and diversifying his rugby experience. Kerevi returned to the Wallabies in 2021, bringing maturity and international experience to the squad.
