Oliver Gray Secures Le Mans Podium Finish with Forestier Racing by Panis!
June 15, 202624 Hours of Le Mans 2026
Once again it delivered one of the most demanding and unpredictable races in motorsport, and Corinthian Sports Ambassador Oliver Gray produced another impressive performance on the biggest endurance racing stage.
Returning to the Circuit de la Sarthe with Forestier Racing by Panis, Ollie and teammates Esteban Masson and Louis Rousset battled through 24 hours of relentless competition to secure a superb third-place finish in the LMP2 category.
The week began with clear signs that the No.29 Oreca 07-Gibson had the pace to challenge at the front. Forestier Racing by Panis were consistently among the fastest LMP2 runners, with Ollie setting the quickest time in Free Practice 3 by just 0.001 seconds – highlighting just how competitive the class would be.
That speed continued into qualifying, where teammate Esteban Masson delivered a sensational Hyperpole lap to put the No.29 car at the top of the LMP2 standings. However, a post-session penalty meant the team started just behind the front row, adding another challenge before the race had even begun.
When the lights went out, the intensity of Le Mans immediately came alive.
Across the three classes, the race became a true test of endurance. In Hypercar, manufacturers battled relentlessly for outright victory, with Toyota, BMW and Cadillac locked in a close fight throughout the event. After 24 hours of strategy, pressure and precision, Toyota emerged victorious after one of the closest Le Mans battles in recent memory.
In LMP3, the fight was equally competitive, with teams battling for every position as reliability and consistency became just as important as outright speed.
But it was LMP2 where the closest battles unfolded. With a grid full of experienced teams and talented young drivers, every stint mattered. Forestier Racing by Panis remained firmly in contention throughout the race, delivering strong pace, clean execution and the consistency required to survive the ultimate endurance challenge.
For Ollie, the race was another opportunity to demonstrate why he is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in endurance racing. His stints showed the same qualities that have defined his season so far: speed, composure and the ability to perform under immense pressure.
After 24 hours of racing, the No.29 Forestier Racing by Panis Oreca crossed the line in third place in LMP2 – securing a hard-earned Le Mans podium finish.
Speaking after the race, Ollie said:
“Another podium in Le Mans is a good feeling, even if it’s slightly bitter to not get the win. However falling a lap down after halfway and coming back to the podium is something to be proud of. All eyes to Imola now”
A Le Mans podium is an achievement that few drivers experience, and Ollie’s performance throughout the week once again underlined his ability to compete at the highest level of endurance racing.
Everyone at Corinthian Sports is incredibly proud of Ollie and the entire Forestier Racing by Panis team. Representing Corinthian Sports at one of the world’s most iconic sporting events, Ollie continues to show the determination, professionalism and talent that define a true racing ambassador.
Congratulations to Ollie, Esteban, Louis and the whole team on an outstanding result at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Next race on the ELMS European Le Mans Series is 4 Hours of Imola: July 5th
