Jason Weaver, born on February 9, 1972, in Manchester, is a highly respected former flat jockey whose name remains synonymous with skill, precision, and class in British horse racing. Growing up with a strong passion for the sport, he dedicated himself from an early age to mastering the art of race riding. His talent was quickly recognised, and he rose through the ranks with determination and natural ability.
Weaver became Champion Apprentice in 1994, the same year he famously partnered Mister Baileys to victory in the 2000 Guineas, marking a defining moment early in his career. He went on to secure numerous major wins, including the St Leger in 1998 aboard Silver Patriarch, while riding for leading trainers and building a reputation for strength in the saddle and impeccable race judgment.
